Well apparently, search engine companies earn money by providing search results as well as relevant sponsored links. So, some third-party companies like My Search Funds pay users a percentage of the revenue from sponsored links to search, while others like Blingo reward their users with random prizes when they search.

I haven't won before using Blingo, but then again I haven't tried that much. However, I have won using a very similar search engine - Winzy.com. I've won $50 in Amazon gift cards from them! (More info on my site: www.luckysweeper.com). Good luck!
